     • BASI Snowboard Teacher – ISIA
     • BASI Snowboard Trainer
     • Member of the 2007 BASI Demo Team

Paul grew up around his parents’ water sports centre in Spain,
teaching water sports and spending his free time windsurfing
     and wakeboarding.

He entered the world of snowboarding in 1991 and was soon
competing in international racing and freestyle events,

obtaining several top 10 places during this time.

After qualifying as a snowboard instructor on the first ever BASI
course, Paul completed his BASI Snowboard Teacher qualification,
certifying him at the highest international level.

Soon after he was invited by BASI to become a Snowboard Trainer,
training and qualifying snowboard instructor candidates, as well as
contributing to the development of new courses and written resources
keeping BASI at the cutting edge of international snowboard instructor training.

Teaching in Andorra, Paul was promoted to manager of Soldeu Snowboard School,
recognized as one of the best snowboard schools in Europe by leading tour operators,
where he was responsible for a team of 15 instructors.

Then in 2006, with an unexpected change in the law, Paul became one of a handful of
elite British instructors granted the right to work legally in France.

He seized this opportunity to carry out what had until then been an unachievable goal: to set up
a snowboard school in one of Europe’s premier ski areas, working at a high level with the best
instructors to pass on years of knowledge to snowboarders of all abilities.

“Snowboarding has given me so much over the years: travel, friendships and good times. It’s taught me about myself

and other people. The amazing thing is that there is constantly something new to learn, no matter how good you are.
For me it’s just as satisfying to help a beginner take his or her first steps as it is to train an instructor”
