With its wide-open runs and perfectly groomed slopes, Courchevel snowboarding resort offers some fantastic piste riding. It can be pretty mind-blowing when conditions are good, especially if you’re into carving.
Snowboarding in Courcheval is not all about the pistes, though. There is plenty of easily accessible off-piste riding close to the marked runs. For more adventurous snowboarders, the back of the resort offers some more extreme terrain. In addition to the impressive views, this is ideal if you’re into splitboarding.
If freestyle’s your thing, the Family Park in Courcheval’s snowboarding resort has some great lines of boxes, rails and kickers. There is also a beginner’s area which we often use in our snowboarding lessons. This is the perfect place for getting the hang of things before progressing to the bigger features.
For first-time riders, Courcheval snowboarding resort offers some of the best terrain in the 3 Valleys. There’s a huge choice of easy wide-open slopes. These are ideal for practising your turns without the concern of getting close to the piste edge. You also never feel crowded with people around you.
When snowboarding in Courcheval, be sure to check prices before stopping for a drink on the slopes. You can easily blow your day’s budget just on a round of beers!
