Where are you from?
Northamptonshire in the United Kingdom. Northamptonshire is far from a mountainous wonderland, it is nestled right on the edge of the Fens, an area known for its incredibly flat geography, making it less than ideal for mountain sports.

When did you first start snowboarding?
My snowboarding journey began when I had the opportunity to try snowboarding on a school trip to Alpe d’Huez in 2004. I was instantly hooked.

What countries have you been riding in?
I’ve been fortunate enough to live, work and ride in several countries. These countries include Canada, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Scotland, Japan, New Zealand and of course France.

What do you like most about snowboarding?
What I like most about snowboarding is riding with fellow enthusiasts, anyone who loves to ride. There is nothing quite like cruising with a group of friends, pushing each other and trying new things. Whether it’s cranking carves on piste, putting turns in off-piste or trying a new trick these moments are always better shared with friends.

What’s your favourite run in the 3 Valleys?
I believe a good measurement of a great ski resort is how good your home run is, which runs you get to take all the way home at the end of the day and mine is a treat. Starting at the summit of Col de la Loze you drop into a steep black run that shoots you into the switchback turns of Plan fontaine and many side hits along the green run and culminating in Murettes, a red run between the trees that passes the top of the Olympic jump before delivering you into Le Praz. Both fun and challenging.
