There’s nothing quite like getting away from the crowds, finding untracked snow and exploring new areas.
We love backcountry snowboarding, and our off-piste and splitboarding snowboard tours mean we can share these experiences with you. From lift-accessed terrain to splitboard introduction, our snowboard tours guide you off-piste. Taking you on an adventure to see what the great 3 Valleys really have to offer.
Whether it’s your first time backcountry snowboarding or you are a more experienced off-piste rider, we can take you to the most suitable terrain.
Throughout our off-piste and splitboarding snowboard tours we’ll also offer advice on techniques, line choice and always provide safety guidance.
We recommend at least 3 hours for an off-piste or backcountry session.

Splitboarding is a fairly new and increasingly popular side of snowboarding. A splitboard separates down the centre to create two skis, allowing us to walk/‘ski tour’ further into the backcountry and access more terrain. Once you reach the summit, we reattach the board, ready to enjoy the ride back down.
Each splitboarding snowboard tour feels like a mini-expedition. The sense of adventure kicks in as you clip into your ‘skis’ and leave the busy resort slopes behind.
The trek up is as much part of the enjoyment as the ride down. It gives you time to appreciate the beauty of your surroundings and connect with the peace and natural balance of the mountains.
There is a sense of accomplishment when you reach the top, look back and survey your route up. This is then followed by the excitement of the run back down. If you’re looking for new backcountry snowboarding experiences, splitboarding is for you!
We recommend a full day for a splitboard tour.
